Ramona Shelburne

Ramona Shelburne is a sports news columnist in Los Angeles and was a college softball player at Stanford University.

Shelburne was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, California where she was a class valedictorian. She then went to Stanford University from 1997-2001 where she received a BA in American Studies and an MA in Communication. She was a three-time National Fastpitch Coaching Association Academic All-American softball player.

She was a sports columnist for the Los Angeles Daily News until the end of 2009, when she joined ESPNLos Angeles.com. She spent seven years at the Daily News. [1]
